FACT CHECK: Are Republicans really trying to stop people from voting?

The partisan push for nationalized mail-in ballots is not based on logical thinking. Money has already been allocated to states to increase public health safety at the polls. 6 ft distancing can easily be enforced to mitigate risk, just as you would when you wait in line at the grocery store. Voting does not require any more human interaction than buying groceries does (in fact there is less). There is simply not a strong case for upending our whole election system, when other safety measures are clearly adequate. Watch here.
