My reaction to the first debate.
I’ve been proud to stand alongside Harris Health System to protect the health and safety of Houstonians – especially vulnerable communities – during this pandemic.
Flood relief has been my number one priority in Congress. I secured release of funding for Harvey disaster mitigation, championed the effort to address the San Jacinto River mouth bar, and led the Texas delegation effort to gain disaster declaration after Imelda. I also successfully advocated for additional gates on the Lake Houston dam.
“We’ve been a team since the beginning. Dan deployed five times. He saw it as the way he could ensure he did his part. After he was injured he wanted to keep serving. He knew he couldn’t stop. They could take his eye, but they couldn’t take away his dedication to the United States. Dan went to DC with a mission – to continue serving. He’s of a strong belief that no matter what is thrown at us we can come through this together. And he will be there to make sure that happens.”

Joe Biden said, “I beat the socialist….I am not a socialist.” He forgot he had the socialist join his campaign. Watch my response.
Hold big pharma accountable, decrease costs and increase access and transparency, protect those with pre-existing conditions.
Greatest joint campaign ad in history.
“We can decide right now that American greatness will not be rejected nor squandered. It’s up to every single one of us to rediscover our strength – we must become the heroes that we admire. America was built by them and our future will be protected by them. It will be protected by YOU.”
I was honored to deliver this message to America from the deck of the Battleship Texas – a vessel which served our nation’s heroes through two world wars. Honor our heritage. Preserve it. Never forget.
The Texas Medical Center is no longer in Phase II of ICU hospital capacity and we never had to consider going into Phase III.
